Gosnells, London’s only Meadery, is running 3 Mead Tasting marathons – and a vintage Mead tasting - to explore the beauty of mead.
These will be in its bar ‘Gosnells Tasting Room’ above Coal Rooms at 11a Station Way, Peckham Rye Station, SE15 4RX.
The mead marathons will be 7:30-9:30pm in December: Thursday 5th, Thursday 12th and Friday 13th - at £15 per ticket. With sitting room for 30 maximum tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis.

The Mead Tastings will include 6 sparkling meads of the month, plus a welcome glass of the 5.5% Gosnells of London, served from its smart 75cl bottle. The journey through the terroir of honey will be hosted by Tom Gosnell, who will explore how and where bees forage and how this defines the final mead.
Meads will include monofloral honeys (from one flower variety) such as acacia, and single hive or postcode honeys, such as their Finchley, Saffron Walden or Hackney Golden meads. This will be a unique opportunity to learn more about honey, terroir and mead!
And on Saturday 14th December, from 12noon-10.30pm, Gosnells will be launching its 2019 12%abv Gosnells Vintage, again at ‘Upstairs at Coal Rooms’. From 7-9pm Tom Gosnell will be on hand to answer questions.
This mead will be made from 100% raw, local, London honey!

Gosnells will have a limited amount of its 2018 Vintage available as well, so that guests can see how the vintages have changed year on year. Founder, Tom will be on hand to answer all your questions between 1700 and 1900 – some come on down and enjoy the Christmas atmosphere!
